Chris Clark, Teaching Assistant. Chris is currently a junior majoring in Political Science. He grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps when he was 18. In the Marines he served in the Special Operations, where he did two tours to the war in Iraq. Chris is co-founder of "Returning Veterans of America," a non-profit veterans service provider. Anda Gansca, Teaching Assistant. Anda comes from Cluj, Romania and is currently a senior majoring in Economics and International Relations. In the past 6 years she has started and helped grow 3 international non-profit organizations and is dedicated to helping other emerging entrepreneurs from developing countries to take advantage of the resources at Stanford and in the Silicon Valley to grow their own initiatives. Mikael Bernstein, Teaching Assistant. Mikael is a junior from Torekov, Sweden, majoring in History with a minor in Economics. He is currently working on his own start-up focused on connecting language students across the world, and has developed a passion for entrepreneurship from working on other projects before and during his time at Stanford. Mikael served as a Swedish-Russian military interpreter in the Swedish Army between 06’/07’ and spent a year working at the Swedish Embassy in Moscow. Pawel Waluszko, Teaching Assistant. Pawel is a graduate of University of California, Berkeley with two degrees in Political Science-International Relations and Slavic Languages and Literatures. Currently he is a graduate student at the Center for Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies at Stanford with core focus on democratization and post-transition economics of Central and East Europe, especially Poland and Russia.
